Impact indicator labels are highly sensitive monitoring devices. The white tube inside the indicator may activate and turn red if exposed to excessive shock or improper handling during transportation. To ensure product stability and prevent accidental activation during shipping, we use strong protective packaging solutions.

Our standard packaging includes double-layer cartons and thick protective foam cushioning to minimize vibration and impact during transit. For highly sensitive models such as 25G, 37G, and 50G impact indicators, we additionally use reinforced wooden crates for extra protection. These packaging methods significantly reduce the risk of accidental activation caused by rough shipping conditions.

“G” refers to the gravity force value used to measure impact sensitivity in impact indicator labels. Different G values represent different impact activation thresholds. Lower G values indicate higher sensitivity to shock and impact, while higher G values require stronger impact force for activation. Selecting the correct G value helps ensure accurate monitoring and protection during transportation and handling

Impact Indicator Label is always live, while Shock Indicator 2 can be armed before you ship a container/carton and is not always live.

The lifespan is typically two years from the date of shipment.
